AP is reporting that a portrait of painter Francis Bacon has fetched about $9.4 million dollars in a London auction. The portrait was painted by Bacon’s artist friend Lucian Freud. In an embarrassing revelation from the French Police, it has been learnt that thieves online have robbed none other than the french premiere, Nikolas Sarkozy. Small withdrawals were made by the thieves from the french president’s account. The withdrawal amounts were kept small to not attract any attention.
