With dwindling oil revenue due to record low crude oil prices, this move from the Iraqi government may help a bit. After winning a court battle for ownership of Saddam Hussein’s Yacht, the Iraqi government has decided to put it up for sale. The price tag is $35 million. A big chunk of that 35 million dollar value stems for the large number of marble and gold features. The yacht has its own mini theatre for movie screenings and a helicopter pad. It also has a missile launching system and submarine for security purposes. The Yacht was previously called the ‘Basra Breeze’ and ‘Qadisiyah Saddam’ and was involved in an ownership battle between Iraq and a Cayman Island firm.
