News is breaking out that the Denver Nuggets have traded former MVP and one of the biggest NBA stars, Allen Iverson, with the Detroit Pistons. The Nuggets are getting Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess in return for Iverson. Denver got Allen Iverson two years ago to help the Nuggets become a good playoffs team, but Iverson combined with Carmelo Anthony could only take the team to the first round of Western Conference playoffs.
The trade has not been officially announced yet and this information about the trade was obtained from Basketball officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The Detroit Pistons are unhappy with their team after it lost three straight times in the NBA finals. Maybe Allen Iverson was the missing puzzle in the Pistons strategy and maybe the Detroit Pistons will help Iverson finally get the NBA championship ring that has eluded him throughout his wonderful career.
