Sony has removed the wraps from its latest offering in the Television segment. The Sony Bravia ZX1 is a 40 inch wide TV with a thickness of only 9.9 mm. As you can see from the picture, the TV is about as thick as a cd case. Sony unveiled the Bravia ZX1 at the NEC’s Grand Designs show. This beautiful TV comes with a big price tag, though. It will be available for 3,500 pounds. At today’s exchange rate that is about $6,000. The ZX1 comes with the Bravia 1080 wireless built in. In other words, it can directly pick content through the wireless from a media server. This model is not expected to be available in the United States, according to Sony.
