McDonalds Monopoly Game (2008) Is Back With $1 Million Grand Prize And $100,000 Daily Prizes

McDonalds is back with its Monopoly game which will run from October 7 2008 - Nov 3 2008. The game can also be played online at PlayatMcD.com. The grand prize of $1 million and daily prizes of $100,000 await the lucky winners. McDonalds is using the pictures of last year’s winners on their promotion material and advertisements. One of the lucky winners from last year’s contest was Ashley Berry of Texas, who won the grand prize of $1 million after buying hash browns at a McDonalds. The other winner was Travis Wilbanks from Missouri, who found his winning piece on a fountain drink.

Consumers can collect game pieces for the MONOPOLY 2008 Game at McDonald’s on Medium and Large Fountain Drinks, Medium and Large Premium Roast Coffee (excluding Iced Coffee and Specialty Coffee beverages), Hash Browns, Big Mac(R) Sandwiches, Angus Burger Sandwiches (where available), Large French Fries, Premium Chicken Sandwiches, Southern Style Chicken Sandwiches and McSkillet(R) Burritos.

Foot Locker has provided more than 95 million Guaranteed Bonus Game Pieces, which can be found on Large French Fries, Premium Chicken Sandwiches, Southern Style Chicken Sandwiches and McSkillet(R) Burritos. Each Guaranteed Bonus Game Piece carries either a chance to win a $1,000 Foot Locker Shopping Spree, or a discount up to 25 percent off any Foot Locker purchase.

Every fifteen minutes online, McDonald’s will be giving away a $50 Shell Refillable Gift Card, while also giving consumers the chance to receive bundles of 25 points to redeem for cool prizes at MyCokeRewards.com. Winners who land on “GO” in the online game will get connected with one hour of free Wi-Fi from Wayport, Inc. at McDonald’s 10,000 Wi-Fi enabled restaurants.

The MONOPOLY 2008 Game at McDonald’s is available in participating McDonald’s restaurants beginning today through November 3, or while supplies last, and online from today through November 17, 2008. The MONOPOLY 2008 Game at McDonald’s is open to residents of the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan, American Samoa and Canada. The Online Game is only available in the U.S.
