After the body of an Indian Student, Soumya Reddy Tummala, was found in a car, another Indian student by the name Vikram Kumar Tummala has also been found shot dead near by. Cops investigating the Soumya Tummala Reddy murder case found Vikram Tummala dead in a lake on Spanish Pond Road, very close to the car where Soumya’s body was found.
The St.Louis Post says both the victims might be related.
Police said they believe Vikram Tummala is related to Soumya Tummala, but is not her husband or brother. They lived at different addresses in Maryville.
It appeared that both died sometime between 9 p.m. Friday, when the park closes, and 8:30 a.m. Saturday, when joggers spotted Soumya Tummala slumped in a 1995 Ford Taurus registered to Vikram Tummala. She was found in a passenger seat.
A relative of Soumya has flown in to identify her body. The Soumya murder is being treated as a homicide case and the discovery of the body of Vikram Kumar Tummala has added more questions than answers to the entire case. The FBI has now joined the murder probe and to help local detectives solve this murder case.
