Big Bang Test Today With The Large Hadron Collider Will Be An Experiment To Test Big Bang Theory, Will Black Holes Bring The End Of World?

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will be switched on today by Lyn Evans.Opponents of the Big Bang test fear this physics experiment will bring the end of world on Wednesday. The European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) has spent 4.4 billion pounds and 40 years to build the 17 mile tunnel called the Large Hadron Collider.

Lawsuits have been filed in the US by opponents of this test who say that the Black Holes that will be created by this Big Bang Test will gobble up earth. This Big Bang Theory experiment will give scientists a chance to view particles which will smash against each other at the speed of light. Black holes will be created in the process and scientists will be able to gather data that will throw more light on the birth of our universe. One of the main results that many are looking forward to is if this experiment will prove that we live in more than three dimensions.

Professor Taylor, who is a physicist at Australia’s Melbourne University was quoted by an Aussie Newspaper saying,

Professor Taylor said if today’s experiment showed there were more than the three dimensions height, width and depth it could change the way we looked at life. One of the most anticipated products might be the elusive Higgs boson, or the God Particle, which could explain how other elementary particles acquired properties such as mass.

If scientists verify the existence of the Higgs boson, it would be a big step in the search for a Grand Unified Theory, which aims to bring together three of the four known fundamental forces: electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force and the weak nuclear force, leaving out only gravity.

Engineers of the CERN will make sure that the experiment does not go bad and will be continuously monitoring the LHC tunnel. About 2,000 magnetic circuits are said to be present in this experiment.

The opponents of this experiment are saying that this experiment would bring the end of world on Wednesday. One of the theories that is associated with the end of Mayan calendar on 12-21-2012 says that doomsday will be caused by a black hole, even though we are still in 2008. Survive2012.com is a website dedicated to discussing catastrophic events that will happen when the Mayan calendar ends and it lists the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) as one of the doomsday causes.Doomsdayguide.org is another website that is dedicated to ‘End of the World’ scenarios.Check it out to read more about other doomsday theories.
