MyOfficeSource Erroneously Lists A 52 Inch Sharp Aquos TV (LC52D64U) For $38 On Amazon.com

by Trendy

MyOfficeSource.com is a wholesale and retail distribution company and a subsidiary of Plexon Inc. The company today listed 52 Inch Sharp Aquos TV (LC52D64U) for $38, Panasonic 32 Inch TV (TC-32LX85) for $65 and Sharp Aquos 20 Inch TV (LC20D42U) for $27 on Amazon.com. These prices were definitely put up by mistake even though there is no confirmation about it yet. There is no way a company would sell a $2300 TV for just $38. Gizmodo first made a note of this error on their website and a lot of folks have already ordered the 52″ TVs for $38. These orders will definitely not be filled. Take a look at the comments on this Gizmodo blog entry for more details about this.

The TV is currently shown as Unavailable on the Amazon.com store of MyOfficeSource. In fact, all TVs are currently showing up as unavailable. Here is a screenshot of the Amazon.com store, from Gizmodo, when the TV was listed for $38.

You cant say ‘They will definitely not be filed” because you don’t know that yet. You can say that they can ALMOST definitely not be filed, though. That is just shitty journalism. Also good job “Cracking the story” almost a day too late.

Dumb asses.

Julian, Thanks for your comment.

There aint much difference between saying “Definitely” or “Almost definitely”. The fact is that the price was erroneously put on Amazon.com and the orders will be cancelled for sure. Also, this story was posted here yesterday on Sep 6 2008. So it was not a day late either.

@Both comments, wow you both kind of suck don’t you? It’s a blog, not CNN! Now I’ll bash you both! “But” shouldn’t be capitalized J Miller, Gizmodo and Slickdeals should, haven’t should have an apostrophe as should don’t, and finally (the killer) you didn’t put a period at the end of your sentence.

Julian, “Almost definitely” is like saying “Sort of absolutely”. It doesn’t mean anything aside from the fact that you have reasoning difficulties.

I hope you both feel like idiots.
