When it usually comes to supporting a noble cause, people are known to forget their differences and competitiveness and work together. This is what will happen when a live one hour fund raiser will be aired on CBS, ABC and NBC during the prime time hour this evening.
‘Stand Up To Cancer’ (Standup2Cancer.org) is an organization that seeks to “end cancer’s reign as a leading cause of death” in the world. According to their website at www.Standup2Cancer.org,

The one hour prime time show tonight will be commercial free and will feature a host of celebrities that include Lance Armstrong, Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, James Taylor, Scarlett Johansson, Meryl Streep, David Cook, Christina Applegate, Jack Black, Charles Barkley, America Ferrera, Hilary Swank, Forrest Whitaker, Jimmy Fallon and Keanu Reeves.
Popular music celebrities will also be performing for the ‘Just Stand Up’ show. The artists lined up for this noble cause are Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes, and Carrie Underwood.
