After 94 years, Stop And Shop, the supermarket grocery chain in the United States North Eastern states has decided to change its logo. Its sister company, Giant food, will also undergo a logo change and will share the new design of Stop & Shop.
Stop & Shop and Giant Food are both owned by international supermarket operator Ahold based in the Netherlands. Giant Food is a popular grocery store with about 181 locations in Delaware, Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Stop & Shop operates in the New Jersery and New England states with 389 stores.

The new Giant Food logo (picture above) is similar to the new Stop & Shop logo and both the designs were created by Brand identity shop Interbrand, Cincinnati. The old logo of Stop & Shop had traffic lights and Giant Food’s old logo was a big G.
Here are the old logos of Shop & Stop and Giant Food.
