According to the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), Honda Civic GX is the greenest car in America. The Honda Civic, according to the Honda Website, is fueled by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for nearly zero emissions. It also features a 113-hp, 1.8-Liter, 16-Valve, SOHC i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine. Honda only sells about a thousand of these cars every year and not to the general public but to corporates and governments. The Toyota Prius was ranked second on the list of the greenest cars in America.
