Google becomes the first internet company to have its own internet sea cable

Google is investing in the construction of its own under-sea internet cable. Well, not its own but it will be partly owned by google. The high speed fiber optic cable called unity will carry bandwidth between Asia and America. This is a big move by google considering it is really hungry for bandwidth. The billion plus dollar acquisition of youtube has further increased its hunger for more bandwidth.
